I laugh when my hens run with a full crop, and the crop sways back and forth, sort of like a one-breasted woman with bulbous, swaying breasts. Some days, after hours of seemingly eating nothing but dirt and rocks, I wonder if they are getting any nutrition. They have cleared quite large areas of the yard just scratching and pecking. Hopefully, there are bugs or worms in that dirt/rocks.
